MEET THE FOUNDERS

Bliss & Luck. was founded by Nisheet Gupta & Dr. Deepti Sood Gupta. They always felt that it was so overwhelming to setup an ethnic or cultural event. First off, it was not very intuitive to understand the breakdown of components needed to host an event that has rich flavors of their culture. Then it was so difficult to find all the right vendors who could help with a simple event like a baby-shower or first birthday. It was obvious that there are many talented vendors who could finish the task with perfection but all these Vendors are somehow lost in 100s of relevant or irrelevant results provided by any search engine. Most of us have been through this ordeal and sometimes have given up and ended up either working with same set of Vendors our friends know, or end up having a cookie-cutter celebration. Even when we found some vendors it was so stressing to contact them one by one and explaining them what is needed and then asking for a quote.. the whole process would become so counterporductive.. instead of enjoying the moments we were spending time finding and exchanging details over and over with a list of vendors. Deepti & Nisheet didnt want anyone to stress and spend hours and hours planning for a perfect South Asian event or settle down on a cookie cutter celebration. They knew they had to create a free platform that could be the one stop solution for all south asian celebration needs.

This free-to-use platform aims to provide you inspirational ideas for your events, a vendor directory to find local talented vendors and venues and also allows you to get competing quotes for different elements of your celebration - be it a glimmering lehnga for a cultural event, Indian Food for a Greh Pravesh, mehendi artist for karva chauth, DJ for your daughter's first birthday, Ghodi for your son's baraat!

As buyers you could submit your request for any custom item, service or venue and see sellers compete to win your request. You don't have to choose the lowest priced quote. It's up to you to select who's awarded the job based on multiple parameters provided by the vendors. This process also provides clients with great chance to work with talented vendors without much effort browsing through the entire marketplace. On the other hand, it also allows vendors to proactively find, promote themselves to clients and grab suitable work, rather than waiting for clients to come to them.
